Jack P. Oakley Portfolio Game Programmer/Designer

FTL Research

We submitted our paper to the 2020 CHI Conference for a team research project in the Interactive Systems and User Experience (ISUE) Lab at UCF.  It involves a new protocol we call Follow-The-Leader (FTL).  My primary tasks on the project include but are not limited to game design and implementation. This includes GUI features.  The coding is all done in Unity C#.  Our paper was approved and published here: Moving Toward an Ecologically Valid Data Collection Protocol for 2D Gestures In Video Games.  You can also view the pdf below, preceded by a link to a video of the Sleepy Town game we designed and used in the research.
